Amanda Michelle Moon writes early in the morning, late at night, and other times when she should be sleeping, usually with a cup of coffee in the basement storage room she converted to an office. Her fiction has appeared or is forthcoming from Flying Ketchup Press and Rock, Paper, Scissors, and her essays have appeared in Blood and Thunder: Musings on the Art of Medicine, 2nd and Church, and Radiantmag.com, among others. She has written two novels about the true-life unsolved mystery of a pair of Wizard of Oz worn ruby slippers from the perspective first of a fictional criminal, and then of the people affected by the theft. She’s currently working on two young adult novels.
