I love these three pieces. The red one reminds me of a strawberry, my favorite summer fruit. Actually, it’s my favorite anytime fruit.

The donut is, I mean, a donut. How cool is that? Plus, it’s just plain pretty.

And this last one, I LOVE that the back is clear. It was a fun challenge to make the wrap beautiful on the front and the back, and I think I did a pretty darn good job (if I do say so myself!)

Do you know what dichroic glass is? According to Wikipedia,

Dichroic glass is glass containing multiple micro-layers of metals or oxides which give the glass dichroic optical properties. The main characteristic of dichroic glass is that it has a particular transmitted color and a completely different reflected color, as certain wavelengthsof light either pass through or are reflected. This causes an array of color to be displayed. The colors shift depending on the angle of view. Dichroic glass is an example of thin-film optics.

We have been having some beautiful sunsets near my house lately. I bought the agates on the bottom two necklaces because they reminded me of sunsets. I had a lot of fun placing them in necklaces. And the copper bows are just fun. Bowties for girls. What’s better?
