Bird by Bird is one of those books that “all writers should read” but I really think it’s a book that anyone who is alive can get something out of. Because, yes, writers need to be reminded it’s okay to do shitty first drafts, but isn’t a lot of life like that? We know what we want to accomplish, we try and it sucks, but we can tweak it.
